Comprehensive Plan

The City of Stoughton has rewritten its long-range comprehensive plan. The purposes of the plan are to:

Identify areas for growth, development, and preservation
Ensure quality development
Promote cooperation with surrounding governments
Provide strategies to implement plan recommendations

This rewrite began with a presentation by Vandewalle & Associates at the Planning Commission meeting of July 12, 2016.

A Vision Workshop was held on October 20, 2016 to identify a shared future vision for the City, and to identify Stoughton's opportunities and challenges for future growth and development.

Stoughton Comprehensive Plan
