Delegated Agent Municipality Status

O-24-2025 (6/24/2025) amends Section 10-2(a)(5) of the Stoughton Municipal Code relating to establishing the City as a designated Municipality in addition to updating the change in name from the State Department of Commerce to the Department of Safety and Professional Services of the Stoughton Municipal Code relating to the building regulations and construction standards.

Tobacco Product Businesses

O-22-2025 (6/24/2025) creates Section 78-207 of the Stoughton Municipal Code relating to the regulations for distance tobacco product businesses and certain zoning districts/uses.

Flood Storage Map Updates

O-16-2025 (5/13/2025) amends Section 30-5(b) of the Stoughton Municipal Code relating to the Flood Storage Map panel numbers as required by the DNR.

Reinspection Fees

O-13-2025 (4/8/2025) amends the building code related to the Uniform Dwelling Code: Wis. Adm Code chs. SPS 327 and subsequent amendments.

Building Permit Construction Standards

O-12-2025 (4/8/2025) creates Chapter 51 of the Stoughton Municipal Code related to the issuance of reinspection fees for uncorrected or repeat code violations.

Building Permit Lapses and Revocations

O-11-2025 (4/8/2025) amends the building code related to timelines for building permit lapses and building permit revocations.

Lot Frontage

O-03-2025 (2/11/2025) amends the zoning code related to minimum lot widths and street frontage within the TR-6 zoning district.

Street Design Standards

O-01-2025 (1/28/25) amends Chapter 66-706 of the City of Stoughton Code of Ordinances to increase certain street with requirements in new developments, as well as minimum terrace widths.

Cluster Box Units

O-23-2024 (12/10/2024) amends the land division ordinance relative to the requirements for and placement of cluster box units used by the postal service for mail delivery.

Multi-family Residence (MR) District

O-21-2024 (12/10/2024) amends the zoning code to consolidate the previous MR-10 and MR-24 Multi-family zoning districts into one (MR).
